Return from maternity leave

I’ve been fully back in the office for two weeks now and it is wonderful to reconnect with so many clients! I’m filled with gratitude to get to do the work of supporting people through the highs and lows of their human experience. In the midst of so much uncertainty, people continue to show up to connect more deeply and compassionately with themselves. I’ve always been drawn to therapy because of how meaningful deep relationships are to me. Having time away and then returning to therapeutic work only reaffirms this for me.

It’s also a great opportunity to practice my own dialectics - I wish I could be in so many places at once. I’m deeply grateful for the people doing the crucial work of caring for my son so I can do the work to care for my clients. It’s the closest thing we have to a village in these modern times.
